The split-coil P-pickup provides the thick, powerful fundamental tone for which the P-bass is known, while the J-pickup at the bridge opens up the top end. The North American alder body keeps everything tight and balanced.

Wider nut and stainless steel frets

The neck features the New Gen C-profile with Edgeless™ rolled fretboard edges and 2.4mm stainless steel frets. The nut is slightly wider than on a Jazz bass at 42mm, which provides a bit more string spacing at the headstock — comfortable for fingerstyle playing.

Heritage-3 preamp with mini-toggle

The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp controls treble, midrange with adjustable mid-frequency, and bass. Unlike the V-models, this one has a separate mini-switch for active and passive modes, allowing you to switch without altering your settings. All controls are under aluminum knobs.

Specifications

Brand: Sire

Model: P7N A4

Series: Marcus Miller P7 New Gen

Type: Electric 4-string bass guitar

Body Wood: North American Alder

Body Shape: Sire P-model

Neck: Roasted Hard Maple

Neck Profile: C-shape (New Gen)

Neck Joint: Four-bolt steel plate

Fretboard: Roasted Hard Maple with Edgeless™ rolled edges

Fretboard Radius: 9.5 inches

Inlays: White Pearloid Block Inlays

Fretboard Binding: Ivory, 1-ply

Frets: 2.4 mm medium

Fret Material: Stainless Steel

Scale Length: 34 inches

Nut: Bone, 42 mm wide

Pickups: Marcus Super-PJ Revolution set

Electronics: Marcus Heritage-3 active preamp with mid-frequency control

Controls: Volume/Tone (dual pot), Blender, Treble, Mid/Mid-frequency (dual pot), Bass, Active/Passive mini-toggle

Knobs: Aluminum knobs in black

Bridge: Marcus Miller Modern-S

Bridge String Spacing: 20 mm

Tuners: Premium lightweight open gear

Hardware: Chrome

Pickguard: Tortoise

Color: Antique White

Orientation: Right-handed
