Taylor 818 E
Sitka Spruce Top | Indian Rosewood Back and Sides | Tropical Mahogany Neck | West African Crelicam Ebony Fretboard | Expression System® 2 Electronics | Taylor Deluxe Hardshell - Western Floral Case
The 818e, the first Grand Orchestra guitar built with V-Class bracing, showcases the power and resonance of a jumbo-style body, along with surprising soft sensitivity and articulation. Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce deliver their distinctive combination of warm lows, pristine highs, and lush, booming overtones, leaving a light scoop in the midrange that's perfect for playing with other instruments or vocals. With an Antique Blonde top finish, Mission inlays in mother of pearl and abalone, and a single-ring pauashell rosette, the 818e has a vibrant aesthetic that sets it apart from its 800 Series counterparts. It comes with ES2 electronics in a luxurious case with a western floral pattern.
