The AKG C314 is a high-quality condenser microphone for studio and live applications. Four switchable polar patterns make the AKG C314 versatile. You can choose between omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-of-eight. This allows for direct pickup, directional and omnidirectional room recording. With a minimum self-noise of only 8 dB (A), the AKG C314 is one of the lowest noise microphones. It has a wide dynamic range and offers outstanding sound quality due to its fine resolution.
The dual-diaphragm capsule is gold-plated and based on the capsule of the classic AKG C414. For optimal sound adjustment, the AKG C314 has a switchable -20 dB pre-attenuation and a switchable low-cut filter. Overloads are reliably indicated by an LED.
