The included PB1000 Presence Boost Adapter optimizes speech intelligibility by providing a 5 dB boost in the range between 5 kHz and 9 kHz.
The gold-plated transducer housing ensures optimum conductivity and protects the AKG C5's acoustic transducer against corrosion in particular. The robust spring steel grille cap and the sturdy die-cast zinc-aluminum housing effectively protect the microphone and capsule from damage in tough everyday stage use.
