AKG – AKGC7 – Microphone

    Omschrijving

The AKG C7 is a high-quality vocal microphone for concerts and live productions. It is best suited for singers who value the precise and natural reproduction of their voice. The sound of the AKG C7 is finely resolved and rich in detail. A slight increase in frequency response in the treble range improves speech intelligibility and additionally supports the assertiveness of the voice.

The sound of the AKG C7's condenser capsule is first-class. It has excellent impulse response and guarantees studio-quality voice transmission. Even loud signals with a very high sound pressure (150 dB) are transmitted without distortion.

Disturbing background noise due to grip or pop noise is reduced to a minimum with the AKG C7. The mechano-pneumatic suspension of the microphone capsule ensures effective decoupling of handling noise. To prevent pop and hiss sounds, the microphone basket has a protection system made of 3 layers of special acoustic fleece.

The microphone has a targeted directionality due to the supercardioid characteristic. Due to the narrow pickup field, laterally incident sound is suppressed. The AKG C7 is therefore particularly insensitive to feedback.

The AKG C7 is designed for durability and longevity. The metal housing and spring steel grille cap make the microphone extremely robust. The diaphragm is gold vaporized and insensitive to moisture and corrosion.

Caution: Microphones with supercardioid characteristics have a proximity effect. Depending on the distance and the angle of incidence, the sound of the microphone can be shaped. At close distance (less than 5 cm) from the microphone, the voice sounds fuller, softer and more bass-heavy. As the distance increases, the sound becomes smoother and more spatial.
