The JBL PRX835W is a 3-way, bi-amp powered speaker with 1,500 watts. The integrated bi-amp power amplifier module produces a total of 1,500 watts and has a DSP with all controller functions. These can be individually configured via Wi-Fi and the PRX Connect app. Due to the horn-loaded midrange section with a 6.5" chassis, the JBL PRX835W achieves an extremely high speech intelligibility as well as a very precise dispersion behavior.
The EQ setting can be switched from 'Normal' to 'Boost' depending on the application and type of signal. Other features include two inputs, each with XLR, jack and RCA connectors, and a switchable output to XLR for routing the input signal. The input sensitivity is switchable from Mic to Line.
Due to its high performance, the JBL PRX835W is suitable as a stand-alone system even for high level requirements. Typical applications are all sound reinforcement with high expectations for speech or vocal intelligibility. Due to the very precise dispersion of the JBL PRX835W, even acoustically difficult rooms can be well sounded without disturbing reflections.
The JBL PRX835W is equipped with a high-quality dual coil drive chassis, specially developed neodymium high-frequency driver and very efficient digital power amplifier circuits.
The trapezoidal cabinet is made of sturdy multiplex wood and covered with JBL's durable DuraFlex paint. The front grille is made of powder-coated steel as well as backed with acoustically transparent fabric. It effectively protects the components from mechanical impact.
