The carefully tuned combination of the 15” woofer with horn loaded midrange and tweeters results in a unique 3-way design for best speech intelligibility. The special JBL waveguides guarantee precise dispersion and optimal sound for the entire audience. The built-in 2,000 watt Class-D amplifier delivers a maximum sound pressure level of 136.1 dB (peak). Due to its high output, the JBL PRX935 is also suitable as an independent “stand-alone” system for extreme level requirements - even without an additional subwoofer thanks to the 15” woofer.
The powerful DSP, which can be controlled either via a built-in color display or the JBL Pro Connect app, offers a 12-band parametric EQ for system equalization and precise sound control. The integrated dbx DriveRack technology provides functions such as automatic feedback suppression (live and fixed), a limiter with Soundcraft Overeasy circuitry, a delay and numerous presets.
The JBL Pro Connect app enables comprehensive control of the hardware and DSP settings of up to ten speakers. The PRX900 Series models can be integrated into projects with other JBL speakers such as the JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE and EON700, with exclusive features such as snapshots and grouping.
The PRX935 is specially designed for demanding mobile use, e.g. in discos, as live PA or as loud stage monitoring such as drum and sidefill. The composite cabinet is equipped with computer-optimized internal bracing that increases cabinet rigidity and improves both acoustic properties and robustness. As with all JBL products, the system undergoes extensive testing and is backed by a seven-year warranty.
