The Lexicon PCM96 Surround offers a unique selection of new and legendary Lexicon reverb and effects algorithms. With its FireWire audio streaming technology, it integrates perfectly into modern studios.
In combination with a digital audio workstation, control of older PCM96 Surround devices is done via the FireWire interface. At the same time, this connection transmits up to 6x audio channels. FireWire streaming is only possible with the operating systems Mac OS X 10.4.11 to 10.6.8.
In contrast to the Lexicon PCM96, the PCM96 Surround offers more factory programs, advanced configurations and additional inputs/outputs. With the help of the OLED display and the three parameter knobs, editing effects is easy and fast. On the front of the 19"/1 RU case there is also a Compact Flash Card slot.
The Lexicon PCM96 Surround is available in two versions. With 3x digital XLR inputs/outputs or with analog and digital inputs/outputs on 25-pin Sub-D.
