The MICHELANGELO overdrive plus is a handbuilt analog overdrive pedal, with a separate boost circuit, adjustable clean blend and a clipping type selector.
The JFET transistors at the heart of Michelangelo provide a warm and dynamic sound similar to that of an overdriven tube amplifier.
A three-position switch allows you to choose between three different overdrive characters, using silicon, germanium or JFET semiconductors. This makes Michelangelo very versatile, with overdrive and distortion sounds all over the spectrum, from boost to light crunch to overdrive and ultimately a very defined tube amp-like distortion sound.
Unique to Michelangelo is its preamp and output boost, both of which are individually adjustable and can be activated using a dedicated boost footswitch. The preamp provides extra gain, the output boost provides extra volume.
A final great feature of Michelangelo is the ability to mix clean signal with overdrive using the blend knob.
