The Soundcraft Si Impact is a digital mixing console for live sound and recording. Bands and musicians can make live recordings of their concerts and record demos in the rehearsal room.
From the operating concept, the Soundcraft Si Impact is built like an analog mixing console. However, with its powerful DSP, motorized faders and a USB interface, it offers all the advantages of digital technology.
Lexicon effects, dbx dynamics processing and graphic equalizers from BSS allow sound processing in studio quality. With the built-in 32-channel USB interface, multitrack recordings can be made on the computer.
Soundcraft's fader-glow concept is unique. The individual fader paths are illuminated in different colors depending on the mode. The improved clarity helps to avoid mistakes when mixing. An iPad app is available for controlling and monitoring all important mixer functions. The Si Impact app is available in the Apple App Store.
The RJ45 connector for a stagebox is built right in. To connect the Soundcraft Si Impact to one of the many Soundcraft stageboxes, a Cat cable is all you need (follow the specifications). Also, the mixer has an additional slot that will fit any expansion card for the Si mixers. A second stagebox, additional playouts or network routings are thus possible at any time.
