The Songwriter Series is developed to have a very focussed, voluminous and inspiring sound to accompany a singer songwriter as well as any other guitar player. In order to achieve this we applied the special and unique lattice bracing. No other acoustic gutar builder has used this classical guitar bracing in a steelstring guitar yet. This bracing pattern is responsible for a well-defined tone with more punch than a guitar with a regular X-bracing.
To enhance this difference, we have new cosmetics with wooden bindings and bridge pins. A new rosette with abalone and wood and the absence of a pickguard.
The SWG-150-CE has a solid Sitka spruce top and rosewood sides and back. The rosewood give this guitar a powerful and sonorous sound. The Fishman Presys+ amplification system ensures problem-free onstage performance with a lot of tone-shaping flexibility.
As all Richwood Master Series, the Songwriter Series displays an excellent playability with a very comfortable neck profile.
