Realistic piano playing for the home

The Medeli UP82/WH is a complete digital piano for beginner and advanced students who want to play at home on an instrument with the look and feel of a traditional piano. The Pure White Satin finish gives the piano cabinet a fresh and contemporary look.

The keyboard consists of 88 full-size GAS-II keys with graded hammer action. The lower keys feel heavier than the higher keys, similar to the mechanism of an acoustic piano. Thanks to the touch sensitivity, the sound responds to the force with which the keys are played.

Twenty carefully selected sounds

The UP82 contains twenty instrument sounds for various music styles. In addition to acoustic piano sounds, various electric pianos and other keyboard instruments are available. Sounds can be combined or divided across the keyboard with the layer and split functions.

With Twinova, the keyboard is split into two equal playing areas with the same tonal range. This allows a student and teacher to play side-by-side simultaneously. The built-in metronome helps in developing a constant tempo.

Powerful stereo sound

Two 25-watt amplifiers power two 15 × 10 cm oval speakers. The integrated speaker system reproduces the piano sounds clearly and powerfully, without the need for external amplification.

For silent practice, the piano has two headphone jacks. Once headphones are connected, the built-in speakers can be switched off.

USB-MIDI and digital audio

The USB-B connection transmits both MIDI and digital audio. This allows the UP82 to be connected to a computer, tablet or suitable music app with a single USB cable. Piano playing can be directly recorded in recording software, while audio from the connected device can be played back through the piano.

In addition, an audio input and line output are present. The integrated pedal unit offers sustain, soft, and sostenuto functions.
