The measure of flatwounds
Since the 1950s and 60s, Deep Talkin' Bass flatwounds have been, and continue to be, the choice of professional bassists. The strings are hand-polished, resulting in an exceptionally smooth playing surface. The sound is deep, full, and dry, with hardly any finger noise.
The Gold Flats version: same construction, but wound with Golden Alloy instead of stainless steel.

Fresh out of the packaging
La Bella packages its strings with MAP technology (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). This prevents tarnishing and ensures they are as fresh when opened as they were on the day they were made. The strings are made in the United States from American Wire.
