Since the 1950s and 60s, the Deep Talkin' Bass flatwounds have been the choice of professional bassists, and they have remained so. The strings are hand-polished, resulting in an exceptionally smooth playing surface. The sound is deep, full, and dry, with hardly any finger noise.
