La Bella makes separate sets for guitars that deviate from the standard size: alto guitar, baritone guitar, octave guitar and related instruments. The gauges are calculated based on the scale length and tuning of the instrument, so that the tension is correct and all strings respond properly.

La Bella packages its strings with MAP technology (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). As a result, they do not tarnish and are as fresh when opened as on the day they were made. The strings are made in the United States from American Wire.
