Universal dual footswitch for hands-free operation

The NUX NMP-2 is a versatile dual footswitch for controlling amplifiers, effects pedals, loopers, keyboards, and other equipment with a suitable footswitch connection. With the two separate switches, you can control multiple functions directly with your foot.

The NMP-2 supports both latch and momentary operation. This allows the footswitch to be adapted to various devices and applications, such as switching presets, starting and stopping loops, controlling amplifier channels, or activating effects.

Latch and momentary functions

In latch mode, the respective function switches between on and off with each press. This setting is suitable, for example, for channel switching, activating effects, and other functions that need to remain switched on after you release the footswitch.

Momentary mode is available in Open and Close. In this mode, the switching signal remains active only as long as you keep the footswitch pressed. This is suitable for tap functions, temporary effects, and certain looper or keyboard commands, among others.

Two independently adjustable switches

The two robust footswitches can be used independently. Each switch has its own status indicator, so you can quickly see which function is active while playing.

You set the desired operation to Latch, Open, or Close via the mode switches. Always check the manual of the connected device beforehand to see which switching mode is supported.

Mono and stereo connections

The NMP-2 has a separate connection for footswitch A and a combined B&A connection. With a suitable 6.35mm TRS stereo cable, both footswitches can be used via a single connection.

When a mono TS cable is connected to the combined B&A connection, only footswitch B is used. For simultaneous operation of both switches via this connection, a TRS stereo cable is required.

Suitable for various devices

The NMP-2 is designed as a universal controller and can be used with compatible NUX equipment, including the Loop Core Deluxe, JTC Drum & Loop Pro, and Cerberus. It can also be used with many other amplifiers, effects devices, keyboards, and modules that support external footswitches.

The actual functions are determined by the connected device. Therefore, always check the connection, polarity, and supported switching mode of the respective equipment.
