The Richwood RD-12 is of the highest quality found within its price range. It is a beautifully finished starter guitar that plays very lightly, minimizing sore fingers. With the oil-bath tuning machines, the RD-12 stays in tune well. It features a spruce top. The sides and back are made of linden wood, and it has a pau ferro bridge and fingerboard.
The silver/nickel frets on the hardwood fretboard are wear-resistant and made for long-lasting playing pleasure. The Richwood RD-12 is very suitable for people who are starting to play guitar, people who don't want to spend too much money, and also offers advanced players a surprisingly warm and usable sound.
The RD-12 is available in various finishes: natural, sunburst, blue sunburst, red sunburst, black. In all these colors, the RD-12 is available with active EQ (with built-in tuner).
It is also available left-handed in black and sunburst colors (with active EQ).
