Classic P-style bass with a powerful bass sound

The SX SPB57BK is a 4-string electric bass guitar with the familiar look and direct sound of a classic P-style bass. The black high-gloss finish, white pickguard and chrome hardware create a timeless combination that suits almost any music style.

The linden wood body is combined with a bolted neck of selected Canadian maple. The fingerboard is also made of selected Canadian maple. The 34-inch scale length and 305 mm fingerboard radius offer a familiar playing feel for both beginning and experienced bassists.

Split-coil pickup with a full, direct sound

The split-coil pickup delivers a solid bass sound with warm lows, clear mids and sufficient definition. This makes this bass excellent for rock, pop, blues, soul and punk, among others.

The controls are kept simple with one volume knob and one tone knob. This allows you to quickly set the desired sound, without complicated electronics.

Vintage details and practical gig bag

The SPB57BK features open vintage-style tuners, a chrome bridge and twenty medium frets. A two-way adjustable truss rod allows for precise neck adjustment.

The bass guitar comes with a suitable SX BB400 gig bag. At dbmusicstore in Utrecht, the instrument is checked and ready to play before delivery.
