SX SST57-VWH Retro Series Electric Guitar – Vintage White

The SX SST57-VWH belongs to the Retro Series: affordable guitars with vintage-correct colors and classic design. The vintage white finish gives the instrument a neat, timeless look.

The wood is more carefully selected than with SX's entry-level models, which is reflected in the sound and in the stability of the neck. The body is made of basswood and the bolt-on neck of selected Canadian maple. The fretboard is made of the same Canadian maple as the neck and has 21 medium frets with black dots.

Three single coils and a vintage tremolo

The three ceramic single coils deliver the bright, bell-like tone characteristic of this type of guitar. With the five-way switch you choose between the individual pickups and the two intermediate positions; a volume and two tone controls do the rest. This makes the guitar well-suited for pop, blues, funk, country, and rock.

The vintage style tremolo bridge allows for subtle pitch effects. The chrome tuners with a 1:15 gear ratio keep the tuning neatly in place.

The guitar comes with an SX EB400/M gig bag, so you can immediately take it to lessons or rehearsals.
