Classic P-style bass sound
The SX BD2/BK is an affordable electric bass guitar with the recognizable shape and direct sound of a classic P-model. The solid linden wood body provides a balanced sound, while the neck of selected Canadian maple feels comfortable and stable.
The split single-coil pickup delivers a powerful bass sound with a strong low end and clear attack. With the separate volume and tone controls, you can quickly adjust the sound, from warm and round to bright and direct. This makes this bass suitable for various styles, including pop, rock, blues and soul.
Comfortable and easy to use
The standard scale length of 864 mm gives the BD2/BK the familiar playing feel of a full-fledged bass guitar. The engineered wood fingerboard has 21 nickel frets and white position markers, making it easy to find your way around the neck.
The black high-gloss finish, tortoise pickguard and chrome hardware give the bass a timeless look. A matching SX BB400 gig bag is included as standard, so you can transport the instrument protected to music lessons, rehearsals or performances.
