Bright A-style mandoline with solid top

The SX SMA600 is a beautifully finished A-style mandoline with a solid spruce top. This wood type provides a bright, lively sound with sufficient projection to clearly bring out melodies, rhythmic parts and chords.

The back and sides are made of flamed okoumé. The arched back supports the projection and gives the mandoline a warm sound base. The natural matte finish beautifully shows the wood grain and provides a classic, well-kept appearance.

Comfortable and stable playing feel

The nato neck features a rosewood fretboard with 21 nickel frets. Thanks to the scale length of 350 mm and a top nut width of 28.6 mm, the instrument feels compact and familiar. The adjustable dual-action truss rod allows for precise neck adjustment.

The combination of a bone top nut, rosewood bridge, and medium phosphor-bronze strings contributes to a direct response and clear definition. The nickel-plated A-style tuning machines with mother-of-pearl look knobs make accurate tuning easy.
