The SX SMF840VS is a richly appointed F-style mandolin with a fully solid body. The solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides together create a clear, powerful sound with warmth, definition, and an immediate response.

The carved and arched top and back enhance the instrument's projection, ensuring that both fast melodic lines and rhythmic chord parts remain clearly audible. The characteristic F-style body and the matte Vintage Sunburst finish give the mandolin a traditional look.

Comfortable and precise playability

The mahogany neck features a rosewood fretboard and a dual-action truss rod, allowing the neck's position to be precisely adjusted. The fretboard has 29 nickel frets and is finished with pearloid position markers.

The bone nut, rosewood bridge, and medium phosphor-bronze strings contribute to a clear attack and good tone transfer. Thanks to the F-style tuners with an 1:18 gear ratio, you can accurately tune the instrument.

Classic details and protective gig bag

The white binding, black and white purfling, and pearloid decorations on the headstock give the SMF840VS a refined appearance. The chrome tailpiece forms a stylish contrast with the warm Vintage Sunburst color.
