African Percussion (Djembe)

This book contains four pieces of increasing difficulty that can be played solo, with a CD, or in a group, with the latter being the most stimulating. Together, you can work towards a concert, and when practicing, you can perform everything at a manageable tempo. The solos played by Aly on the CD for "Alu bonja ma" and "Lundjé mama" are the icing on the cake and a challenge in themselves. When you succeed in playing them, the satisfaction will be immense.

Aly N'Diaye Rose is a master drummer. His sound on the djembe and his soloing skills are of the highest class.
