Götz: Episodes (Accordion Ensemble)
The third is central to this composition. Just as a person can transform his or her appearance by changing clothes or hairstyle, all possibilities of the third are used here: major, minor, augmented and diminished. The same theme can be recognized in all three movements; the third is constantly varied and changed, i.e. adapted to the situation. It is possible to play the three movements without longer pauses as a complete piece (attacca).
