The Ibanez A527IPT in Iron Pewter is a 7-string electric guitar from the ALPHA series. The ALPHA A527 is designed for modern 7-string playing styles, combining ergonomic design with wide tonal possibilities. The construction combines American Basswood with a Parallel Wizard AS-7, 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck. The Ebony fretboard, Mother of Pearl Step offset-dot inlays, and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets provide a direct response and a reliable playing feel, both for rhythmic work and technical playing.
For tone shaping, this model is equipped with active Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico 8 / Ceramic 8 pickups. Volume, tone, a 3-way switch, and a Fishman Fluence Voicing-switch allow for quick tonal changes and precise adjustment of the instrument to an amplifier, stage, or recording situation. The Mono-rail G2 bridge supports stable tuning and efficient transfer of string vibrations.
The scale length is 691–648 mm / 27.2–25.5 inch multiscale, with a fretboard radius of 430 mm. The instrument comes standard with D’Addario EXL120+.059; .009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042/.059 strings. The finish is completed with Black hardware and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners. Gig bag included; luminescent side dot position markers; ergonomic body contours.
