Condacum was composed for the 25th anniversary of the cultural council of the Belgian municipality of Kontich, the hometown of composer Jan Van der Roost. It is an interesting composition that brings the history of this Belgian municipality to life. The opening section is reminiscent of the march of a Roman army, while the dynamic follow-up is full of vitality.
