The JET JS-501 Stygian and JS-507 Stygian expand the Stygian platform into extended range, with both 6-string and 7-string configurations within the same heavily oriented S-style design. Built for players seeking greater tonal depth and modern performance capability, these models combine mahogany construction with powerful electronics and refined details.
Both versions feature a mahogany body paired with a bolt-on maple neck and a rosewood fretboard, maintaining the 25.5” scale format on the 6-string JS-501 and an extended scale specification on the 7-string JS-507 for improved low-end clarity and string tension. The fretboard follows a comfortable radius and 24-fret layout on the 6-string version, with an appropriately extended range configuration on the 7-string model.
Equipped with hand-wound Stygian Alnico humbuckers in an HH configuration, the electronics deliver focused output, strong mid-range presence, and clear articulation suitable for modern rock and heavier playing styles. A 3-way selector switch with master volume and tone controls provides easy tonal control across both models.
Hardware includes a tremolo system designed for stable operation and sealed tuning machines engineered to handle increased string tension, particularly in the 7-string configuration.
The JS-501 Stygian and JS-507 Stygian offer the same dark visual identity and performance-driven design, with the 507 providing an extended range for players who require deeper tonal expansion without sacrificing the familiar S-style feel.
