The JT-300 features a solid poplar body combined with a bolt-on Canadian roasted maple neck for stability and consistency. The roasted maple fingerboard is built with a vintage-style 9.5-inch radius and is equipped with 22 frets, offering a familiar and balanced playing surface. The 25.5-inch scale length provides the traditional string tension and snap associated with classic T-style electric guitars.

Equipped with an SS pickup configuration, the JT-300 includes two single-coil pickups controlled via a 3-way selector switch. This setup delivers the distinctive neck warmth, clear bridge bite, and the well-known combined middle position. Master volume and tone controls offer direct and effective sound shaping.
