The benchmark among flatwounds
Since the 1950s and 60s, Deep Talkin' Bass flatwounds have been the choice of professional bassists, and they have remained so. The strings are hand-polished, resulting in an exceptionally smooth playing surface. The sound is deep, full, and dry, with hardly any finger noise.
The Gold Flats version: the same construction, but wound with Golden Alloy instead of stainless steel.

Fresh out of the packaging
La Bella packages its strings with MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) technology. This prevents tarnishing and ensures they are as fresh when opened as on the day they were made. The strings are made in the United States from American Wire.
