Medeli UP82/BK Digital Piano with 88 Weighted Keys – Black Satin

A complete digital piano for home and music lessons

The Medeli UP82/BK is an elegant digital piano for beginner and advanced pianists looking for a realistic playing feel, a full-sized piano cabinet, and a powerful sound. The black satin finish gives the instrument a calm, modern appearance that easily fits into various interiors.

The UP82 builds upon the popular UP81 and features an improved finish and a more powerful amplification system. The two 25-watt amplifiers drive two oval speakers, providing a rich, clear, and spacious piano sound.

GAS-II keyboard with realistic weight distribution

The Graded Action Standard II keyboard consists of 88 fully weighted keys. The keys feel heavier in the lower register and gradually become lighter towards the higher register. This weight distribution approximates the playing feel of an acoustic piano and supports a natural development of technique and dynamics.

The revamped hammer construction ensures a comfortable and controlled touch. The matte finish of the keys reduces distracting light reflections and offers extra grip during longer practice sessions.

Twenty sounds and practical playing functions

The Medeli UP82 features twenty different sounds and a maximum polyphony of 64 voices. With the Layer function, you can combine two sounds, while Split divides the keyboard into separate sound areas.

The Twinova or Duo function splits the keyboard into two identical playing zones with the same tonal range. This is particularly practical during music lessons, as both teacher and student can play on the same instrument simultaneously.

Furthermore, the piano offers four reverb types, adjustable touch sensitivity, transposition, and octave settings. The integrated music library contains ten songs for practice or listening.

USB audio and MIDI

Via the USB-B port, the UP82 transmits both MIDI and audio data to a computer or compatible mobile device. This allows you to record piano playing directly, use music software, or use the instrument as a MIDI controller.

In addition, two headphone jacks are available, allowing you to practice in silence or listen together with a teacher. An audio input and line output allow connection to external sound equipment.

Three integrated pedals

The fixed pedal unit offers sustain, soft, and sostenuto. This means the UP82 has the same basic pedals as an acoustic piano, allowing you to correctly practice various playing and expression techniques.
