Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis can also be regarded as a process that begins with our origin (Initium), continues through the development of body and mind (Corpus, Animus), and, guided by life's experiences (Virtus, Invidia), helps us to develop into a mature personality (Estasi). During their performance, the musicians will experience a change in their consciousness, developing a strong awareness of what has been and what will be (the past and the future). The improvisation fragments have deliberately been left open (i.e., without notation) to give the performer the opportunity to move freely within the respective musical style – and thus to give wing to their imagination.
