Free Movement Without an Instrument Cable

The NUX B-5RC is a complete 2.4 GHz wireless system for electric guitar, electro-acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele. The set consists of a compact transmitter, a receiver, and a portable charging case. This allows you to replace the traditional instrument cable without a noticeable loss of playability or sound quality.

The transmitter connects directly to the instrument, and the receiver plugs into the input of an amplifier, effects pedal, pedalboard, or audio interface. Thanks to the rotatable jack plugs, the system fits a wide range of instruments and connections.

Automatic Pairing and Instant Play

The transmitter and receiver pair automatically as soon as both devices are switched on. The system independently selects a suitable wireless connection. This means you don't have to configure channels or complicated settings.

A short press of the transmitter's power button activates the mute function. This allows you to quickly silence the instrument signal during a break, instrument change, or when connecting other equipment.

Clear 24-bit Audio Quality

The B-5RC transmits the signal with a resolution of 24-bit and a sample rate of 44.1 kHz. The frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ensures that both low bass tones and clear guitar frequencies are transmitted well.

With a latency of less than 5 milliseconds, the system responds instantly to your playing. This makes it suitable for home practice, rehearsals, studio recordings, and live performances.

Up to 30 Meters Wireless Range

Under favourable conditions, the NUX B-5RC offers a wireless range of up to approximately 30 meters. This gives you plenty of freedom of movement on stage and in the rehearsal room. The actual range may be affected by walls, metal objects, and other wireless equipment.

The system operates in the globally available 2.4 GHz frequency band. Smart channel selection helps maintain a stable connection within this frequency band.

Suitable for Various Instruments

The B-5RC works with active and passive pickups and supports both magnetic and piezo pickups. This allows you to use the system with electric guitars, bass guitars, electro-acoustic guitars, and ukuleles.

The compact design provides ample space around the connection and does not interfere with the tremolo arm on many electric guitars. For certain instruments with active electronics, a separate mono adapter may be required.

Optional Cable Tone Simulation

The switchable Cable Tone function mimics the capacitive influence of a traditional instrument cable. This gives the wireless signal a slightly softer and naturally rounded sound, similar to using a high-quality guitar cable.

You can choose between completely transparent wireless transmission and this simulated cable sound.

Charging and Storage in One Case

The batteries in the transmitter and receiver provide up to approximately four hours of continuous use. If the system detects no activity for ten minutes, sleep mode is automatically activated to save energy.

The included charging case has a capacity of 3000 mAh and can charge the transmitter and receiver approximately three times. This extends the total usage time by up to about fifteen hours. The case also protects the components during transport and storage.
