NUX NPA-100 Active Monitor for Electronic Drums
The NUX NPA-100 is an active full-range monitor specifically tuned for electronic drum kits. With 120 watts of power, a 12-inch woofer, and two 2-inch tweeters, the monitor clearly reproduces both powerful low frequencies and detailed cymbals and hi-hats.
Thanks to its wide and relatively flat frequency response, the NPA-100 is suitable for home practice, rehearsals, recording, and live performances. The monitor can also be used for keyboards, modelers, background music, and general stage monitoring.
120 watts of power
The built-in amplifier delivers 120 watts of power, providing sufficient sound pressure for individual practice sessions, band rehearsals, and small stages. The sound remains clear and dynamic, allowing you to hear nuances in your playing well.
12-inch woofer
The 12-inch woofer ensures a robust and controlled reproduction of low frequencies. This keeps the kick drum, floor toms, and other low drum sounds powerful and clearly audible.
Two 2-inch tweeters
Two 2-inch tweeters handle the high frequencies. They reproduce the character of cymbals, hi-hats, snares, and percussion in detail. The combination with the large woofer results in a wide full-range sound.
Two independent channels
The NPA-100 features two separate input channels. This allows you to connect, for example, a drum module and a second audio source simultaneously. The volumes of both channels are independently adjustable.
Each channel also has its own three-band equalizer. This allows you to adjust low, mid, and high frequencies for each connected source.
Bluetooth and AUX input
Via Bluetooth, you can wirelessly stream background music and backing tracks from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. For a wired audio source, a 3.5mm AUX input is available.
This allows you to easily play along with music without using a separate mixer.
Two balanced DI outputs
The two balanced XLR DI outputs send the signals from the individual channels to a mixer, PA system, or audio interface. This makes the NPA-100 suitable as a personal monitor within a larger stage or recording setup.
Full-range monitor for various applications
Although the NPA-100 is optimized for electronic drums, it can also be used with keyboards, digital pianos, multi-effect processors, and amplifier modelers. The full-range reproduction helps to reproduce digital sounds and cabinet simulations faithfully.
