WKJ-03 keyboard with three sensors
The NUX WKJ-03 keyboard features scaled hammer action. This means the keys feel heavier in the bass register and gradually lighter towards the treble register, just like an acoustic grand piano.
Three sensors accurately register rapid repetitions, legato passages, and subtle dynamic differences. The escapement mechanism mimics the characteristic release point of a grand piano action. The key surfaces of synthetic ivory and ebony provide a pleasant grip.
With five different touch sensitivity settings, you can adjust the keyboard's response to your playing style.
30 sounds and 128-note polyphony
The NPK-200 contains 30 high-quality sounds, including acoustic grand pianos, electric pianos, organs, and string instruments. Thanks to the maximum polyphony of 128 notes, even full chords, layered sounds, and passages with extensive pedal use remain clear.
The layer function combines two sounds. The split function divides the keyboard into two zones with separate sounds. The split point, octave shift, and balance between them are adjustable.
Effects and touch-sensitive slider
Four types of reverb, chorus, delay, and a brightness control offer extensive options for adjusting the sound. The effect depth is adjustable for each effect.
With the touch-sensitive slider, you can control the master volume or a vibrato effect while playing. This allows you to make changes smoothly and in real-time.
Automatic piano accompaniment
The NPK-200 features 30 piano accompaniment styles with synchronized start and recognition of simple or multi-finger chords. The accompaniment volume is separately adjustable.
In addition, there are ten drum rhythms and fifty demonstration songs. The built-in metronome offers nine time signatures, three sounds, and an adjustable tempo from 40 to 240 BPM.
Recording and saving presets
The three-track recorder allows you to record different parts separately. Two user presets provide space to save favorite sounds and settings and recall them quickly.
Bluetooth Audio and MIDI
Via Bluetooth Audio, you can wirelessly stream music and backing tracks from a smartphone or tablet. Bluetooth MIDI enables a wireless connection to compatible music software and educational apps.
USB Audio and USB MIDI
Via USB, the NPK-200 transmits both digital audio and MIDI. This allows you to record performances directly to a computer or mobile device and use the keyboard to control virtual instruments. The USB recording signal level is adjustable.
Built-in speakers
Two oval 10-watt speakers deliver clear stereo sound. With three EQ settings, you can adjust the sound reproduction to the room and the instrument's placement.
For silent practice, two headphone jacks are available. Via the separate L/mono and R outputs, you can connect the piano to active speakers, an amplifier, mixer, or audio interface.
