The 19-fret Richwood Master Series tenor banjo is popular in traditional jazz and Irish music. The 19-fret version has a louder and tighter sound than the rounder and softer-sounding RMB-604-SS. The typical way to play a tenor banjo is with a pick, but we recommend exploring different playing styles.
