The Peruvian walnut fretboard and more opulent fretboard inlay elevate this banjo above any other in this price range. The 17-fret Richwood Master Series tenor banjo is popular in traditional jazz and Irish music. This 17-fret version has a softer and rounder sound than the 19-fret version.
