The Songwriter series was developed to create a very focused, voluminous, and inspiring sound for songwriters and strummers. To achieve this, we applied special lattice bracing. This bracing pattern is responsible for a well-defined tone with more punch than a guitar with conventional X-bracing.
To further highlight this difference, we've added new cosmetics with wooden bindings, bridge pins, and a new rosette with abalone and wood. Additionally, we've opted for models without a pickguard.
The SWG-150-CE features a solid Sitka spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The rosewood gives this guitar a powerful and resonant sound. The Fishman Presys + amplification ensures problem-free onstage performance with great flexibility.
Like all Richwood Master Series guitars, the Songwriter series offers excellent playability with a very comfortable neck profile.
