The Songwriter Series was developed with a very focused, voluminous, and inspiring sound in mind for singer-songwriters, as well as, of course, other guitarists. To achieve this, the so-called lattice bracing was designed. This bracing pattern provides a well-defined tone with more punch than a guitar with standard X-bracing.
To emphasize this difference, the guitar features wooden bindings and bridge pins, a new rosette with abalone and wood, and the pickguard has been omitted.
The SWG-150-CE has a solid Sitka Spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The rosewood gives this guitar a powerful and sonorous sound. The Fishman Presys + amplification system ensures problem-free onstage performance with great flexibility in tone shaping.
The SWG-150W-CE has a wide nut of 48 mm to improve playability for those who prefer or are used to a classical guitar neck, and for people with larger hands.
Like all Richwood Master Series guitars, guitars from the Songwriter Series offer excellent playability with a very comfortable neck profile.
