The SE Electronics X1R is a passive ribbon microphone with a handmade capsule and neodymium magnets. By combining traditional SE ribbon technology with the patented HF extension technology from the Voodoo series, SE has succeeded in developing a classic-sounding ribbon microphone with an elegant lift in the high frequencies.
