The Sire Larry Carlton A3-D is an electro-acoustic dreadnought guitar with a powerful, full sound and comfortable modern playability. The solid, roasted spruce top provides a clear response, while the mahogany back and sides add warmth and a rich midrange to the sound.

Thanks to its dreadnought body, the A3-D delivers robust acoustic volume with clear bass response. This makes it suitable for powerful chord accompaniment, strumming, songwriting, and acoustic performances.

Comfortable Edgeless Fretboard

The mahogany neck features a comfortable C-profile and a rosewood fretboard with rounded Edgeless fretboard edges. This gives the neck a smooth and natural feel. The combination of a 25.5-inch scale length, a 16-inch fretboard radius, and a 43 mm wide bone nut provides ample space for both chord playing and fingerstyle.

Sire SIB Electronics with Piezo and Microphone

For amplified use, the guitar features the Sire SIB Acoustic EQ System. This hybrid system combines a piezo pickup under the saddle with an internal condenser microphone. With controls for volume, tone, and microphone mix, you can determine how much direct definition or natural body sound you send to the amplifier.

The natural finish, herringbone binding, and chrome hardware give the A3-D a neat and timeless appearance.
