J-style bass with a solid USA alder body. The SX SJB/ALD/NA is a 4-string electric bass guitar from the ALD Series. The body is made of USA alder wood and features a transparent natural high-gloss finish. This allows the wood grain to remain beautifully visible and gives each bass its own unique character.

Alder wood is known for its balanced sound with strong lows, clear mids, and a bright attack. In combination with the two single-coil pickups, a versatile J-style bass sound is created that suits genres such as funk, pop, rock, blues, and jazz.

Two single-coils for a wide sound palette

The two single-coil pickups each have their own volume control. This allows you to use the pickups separately or blend them precisely. The neck pickup sounds warm and full, while the bridge pickup adds extra definition and attack.

The general tone control allows you to make the bass sound brighter or rounder. The simple passive electronics respond directly and make it easy to find the desired sound while playing.

One-piece maple neck and comfortable scale length

The bolted neck is made of selected Canadian maple and constructed as a one-piece design with an integrated fingerboard. The fingerboard has a radius of 305 mm and features 20 medium frets with black position markers.

The standard scale length of 864 mm offers the familiar feel of a full-size electric bass. Open chrome tuners and a dual-action truss rod ensure accurate tuning and good adjustment possibilities.
