The Medeli MH20-MZ-F is an original 20-inch replacement head for the electronic bass drums in the Medeli MZ700 and MZ900 series. The head is mounted on the batter side of the bass drum: the side where the bass drum pedal beater strikes.

This separate part is intended for replacing a worn, damaged, or torn bass drum head. This allows the existing electronic bass drum to be repaired without having to replace the entire kick drum.

Double-layer mesh material

The head consists of two layers of mesh material. This construction combines a quiet strike with controlled rebound and is suitable for the repeated stress of a bass drum beater.

Once mounted, the tension can be adjusted evenly using the bass drum's tension rods. Correct and uniform tension contributes to a consistent response and prevents localized overstretching of the head.
