Original front head for a Medeli electronic bass drum

The Medeli MH20-MZ-R is an original 20-inch replacement head for the front side of compatible electronic bass drums from the Medeli MZ700 and MZ900 series. This is the side of the kick drum that faces the audience and is therefore not the side that is struck by the bass drum pedal.

The front head features a cloth-like screen mesh and is emblazoned with the Medeli logo. When mounted correctly, the logo faces outward, ensuring the electronic bass drum retains its original, professional appearance.

For replacement or repair

With the MH20-MZ-R front head, you can replace a damaged, warped, or lost original head without having to replace the entire bass drum. The head visually closes off the rear of the shell and is specifically intended as a resonant or display head.

When mounting, tighten the head gradually and evenly. This prevents wrinkles and keeps the logo neatly centered. This front head is not intended to be struck directly with a bass drum beater.

Please note: This product consists only of the loose front head. The bass drum shell, hoop, tension rods, trigger, and other components are not included. For the pedal side, the separate Medeli MH20-MZ-F batter head is required.
