De Haske Publications| Adam's Song (Concert Band)
Louis Adam (1758-1848), a French composer, pianist, and music teacher from Alsace – the father of the more famous composer Adolphe Adam – worked for decades at the Paris Conservatory. He wrote two renowned piano methods, as well as several sonatas for piano and violin. Robert van Beringen arranged the adagio from a sonatina for piano and titled the arrangement Adam’s Song. This makes this beautiful, relatively unknown music now also available for wind bands.
