Sire Marcus Miller V5-24 passive 4-string bass guitar - mild green

Passive J-style bass with 24 frets

The Sire Marcus Miller V5-24 combines the recognizable character of a passive J-style bass with the extended range of a 24-fret fingerboard. This gives you two full octaves per string and more room for melodic bass lines, chords, and solos.

The North American alder body provides a balanced foundation with robust low-end, clear mids, and bright highs. The stylish Mild Green finish is paired with a gold-colored aluminum pickguard.

Roasted Maple Neck with Edgeless Fretboard

The roasted hard maple neck has a comfortable C-profile. The heat treatment gives the wood extra stability and a pleasant, played-in feel. The rosewood fingerboard features Sire Edgeless rolled fingerboard edges, making the neck feel smooth in the hand.

With a traditional 34-inch scale length, a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, and 24 medium frets, the V5-24 offers familiar playability with extended range in the highest positions.

Classic Passive Bass Tones

The two Marcus Vintage-J Revolution pickups deliver clear and dynamic J-style bass tones. Both pickups have their own volume control, and the central tone control allows you to make the sound bright and direct or warmer and rounder as desired.

The fully passive electronics do not require a battery. The Marcus Miller Vintage-S bridge and premium open-gear tuners complete this versatile bass guitar.
