The Boston GS-286-E is a compact A-frame guitar stand specifically designed for electric guitars. Its low design supports the instrument at the body and does not have a high neck rest, meaning the stand takes up minimal space.

Your guitar remains easily accessible during practice, recording, or performances. The stand is suitable for home use, rehearsal rooms, studios, and stages.

Stable Metal A-Frame Construction

The black metal frame provides a sturdy base for your instrument. The guitar rests with the bottom of its body on the front supports and leans against the rear contact points.

The contact areas are fitted with soft padding to prevent direct contact between the guitar and the metal. Non-slip feet help keep the stand stable on the floor.

Locking Mechanism to Prevent Accidental Folding

The GS-286-E features a lock that secures the stand in its open position. This prevents the A-frame from easily collapsing during normal use. Always check that the lock is properly engaged before placing your guitar.

Semi-Foldable for Easy Transport

After use, the stand can be folded to a more compact size. This makes it easy to store or take to music lessons, rehearsals, and performances. The stand weighs approximately 1.6 kg, making it very manageable.

Note on Body Shape and Guitar Finish

This model is intended for electric guitars with a common body shape. For highly asymmetrical models, such as certain V- and offset shapes, check that the instrument rests securely on both supports before letting go.

Please note: the padding is not suitable for delicate nitrocellulose or nitrocelluloid finishes. Do not use this stand for an instrument with such a finish.
