Bromo BAR6E All-Solid Electro-Acoustic Parlor Guitar
The Bromo BAR6E from the Rocky Mountain Series is an all-solid electro-acoustic parlor guitar with a solid red cedar top and a solid Amara ebony body. Its compact body, short scale length, and warm, expressive tone make this guitar particularly suitable for fingerstyle, folk, blues, and intimate accompaniment. With the built-in Fishman Sonitone system, it's also ready for amplified use.
All-Solid Wood Construction
The top is made from solid red cedar. This wood responds quickly to a light touch and delivers a warm, full tone with rich overtones. This allows the guitar to come alive easily even with subtle fingerstyle playing.
The solid Amara ebony back and sides add clarity, sustain, and a defined low end. This combination with the cedar top results in a rich and balanced sound profile.
Compact Parlor Body
The compact parlor shape sits comfortably against the body and is easy to play during long sessions. The 632.4 mm scale length provides slightly smoother string tension than many larger acoustic guitars. Yet, the BAR6E retains sufficient projection and bass for a full-fledged acoustic sound.
Patented ToneFlow Bracing
The body utilizes Bromo’s patented ToneFlow bracing. This bracing structure supports the top and promotes the transfer of vibrations throughout the entire soundboard. The result is a wide dynamic range with open resonance and clear definition.
Reinforced Mahogany Neck
The mahogany neck is reinforced with two strips of Amara ebony. This increases stability while keeping the neck light and resonant. The Low Profile neck and short scale length ensure a comfortable playing experience. The dual-action truss rod allows for precise neck adjustment.
Amara Ebony Fretboard
The fretboard is made of Amara ebony and features twenty jumbo frets. The abalone Eagle Eye position markers and mother-of-pearl side dots provide a luxurious finish and clear orientation during playing.
Fishman Sonitone Electronics
The built-in Fishman Sonitone system transmits the natural acoustic sound to an amplifier, PA system, or audio interface. The controls are discreetly placed in the soundhole, preserving the guitar's classic appearance. Volume and tone can be easily adjusted while playing.
Bone Nut and Saddle
The nut and compensated saddle are made of bone. This contributes to a direct transfer of string vibrations, a clear attack, and good sustain. The Amara ebony bridge and ebony bridge pins complement the rest of the instrument both sonically and visually.
Refined Finish
The body is finished with multi-ply flamed maple binding and decorative abalone details. The Cowboy Rope rosette, mother-of-pearl Mt. Bromo logo, and antique brass tuners enhance its handcrafted character. The thin satin lacquer clearly shows the natural wood grain and provides a pleasant, smooth playing experience.
Includes Heavy-Duty Gig Bag
The BAR6E comes with a sturdy heavy-duty gig bag. This protects the guitar during storage and transport to lessons, rehearsals, studios, and performances.
