The phenomenon of perfect pitch has been a source of endless fascination for hundreds of years. The ability to recognize the pitch of a note without a reference note is considered an innate magical gift given to only a few musicians—a skill that cannot be learned. Hal Leonard’s Perfect Pitch method is designed to help you develop perfect pitch. In the meantime, you will also benefit as a musician and you will learn to listen to music more intensely and get more satisfaction from it. The core of this book consists of a series of 49 ear training sessions—one per day for seven weeks, for which you can use the online audio excerpts. Many of the sessions include three separate exercises: you can do one and save the others for later, or do all three consecutively.
