Informatie
Beginner's piano method with 110 easy exercises for left and right hand. With gradual progression, clear fingering, and short pieces for young piano students.
My First Piano Book by Folk Dean is an accessible method for children taking their first steps at the piano. The lessons are clearly structured and gently introduce beginning players to the keyboard and initial playing techniques. The book contains 110 simple exercises for both hands, with the correct notes and fingering clearly displayed. This allows students to focus entirely on building a good foundation without immediately being burdened with complex technical patterns.
Initially, the exercises stay within a five-note range. Both the left and right hands receive equal attention. The technical tasks are interspersed with short melodies and small pieces, so that the student can immediately apply the new skills to music. As the book progresses, the difficulty gradually increases, and so does independence at the instrument.
My First Piano Book is the first part of a series of three. The learning progression continues in My Second Piano Book and My Third Piano Book. Together, these books form a logically structured method that allows young pianists to gradually develop their basic skills.
