Hal Leonard Piano Method Lesson Book 4

The Hal Leonard Piano Method – Lesson Book 4 is the fourth level in Hal Leonard's five-part piano method. This volume is intended for students who have mastered basic skills and wish to further deepen their technique, note reading, and musical independence.

At this level, the previously learned five-finger positions are expanded to full scales. Students will work with C major, A minor, G major, and E minor, among others, and practice the main triads and chord progressions within these keys. Syncopation, pedal usage, articulation, phrasing, and dynamic balance also receive more attention.

The learning material is consistently linked to varied repertoire. This allows students to not only practice technical patterns but also learn to apply them musically. The pieces offer variety in character and style and help in developing fluent playing and a good sense of form and expression.

This edition includes Audio Online, which allows students to listen to the music and receive additional support while practicing. This makes it easier to independently check rhythm, tempo, and musical performance.
